Educational Geography Games

  • Great State Junior

    Recommended for ages – 4-7.

    Great State Junior is a great starter game for teaching kids about the United States. In this game they'll learn about the names and the locations of each state. There are facts about each state in the game including state capitals. You basically need to find the state shapes, state pictures or state name. This is done with 50 – Find The Shape Cards, 50 Find The Picture Cards and 50 Find The Name Cards. Great States Junior also comes with a sixty second timer to make the game a little more challenging.

  • Great States

    Recommended for ages 7 - 11.

    The game that inspired Great States Junior, Great States is a little more advanced with 400 questions about facts, finding figures and state fun. You travel around the USA on the game board finding state attractions, landmarks, state abbreviations, capitals, state locations and other great information about the USA. You learn directions, North, East, South and West also. As with Great States Junior there is a timer to make the game more exciting. The great part about this game is that kids as young as 3 can learn about the USA. By searching for states kids quickly learn where each state is located and the state capitals and important facts. And trust me parents learn just as much as the kids!

  • Borderline Games USA Edition

    Recommended for ages 8 and Up.

    This card game helps kids of all ages to learn about the Geography of the USA. There are 73 game cards in this game, which have information about US geography on them. Including 50 state cards, 2 country cards, 1 Gulf of Mexico card, 2 Ocean cards, 1 Great Lakes card, 16 wildcards and 1 rules card. The object of this game is to rid yourself of all your cards, the first to do this wins. It's sort of like a crazy 8s game. This is a great game to get kids interested in the Geography of the USA and parents also learn. Many great vacation ideas may result from playing this game!

  • Borderline World Edition Geography Card Game

    Recommended for ages 8 and Up.

    Like the USA edition this educational geography game is about the world. Again the first to rid themselves of all their cards wins the game. Basically a player plays a country card or important grographic feature and other players try to match its borders with cards they're holding. You can even bluff in this game but if someone calls your bluff then you'll be stuck with more cards. This game is for 2-4 players.

  • Borderline Europe/Middle East Edition Geography Card Game

    Recommended for ages 8 and Up.

    Played exactly the same as the other Borderline Games above but you're learning about other parts of the world, specifically Europe and the Middle East. It's a great way to teach children about other parts of the world and as a refresher course for parents.

  • Borderline Africa Edition Geography Card Game

    Recommended for ages 8 and Up.

    Again played exactly as the other Borderline Card Games are played above. Just another great way to learn about a different part of the world! Once your child knows how to play one edition the other editions will be that much easier to learn making geography a little easier to learn in different regions of the world.

  • Brain Quest Know The States! Game

    Recommended for ages – 4 - 99.

    Here's a game that puts fun into learning about the Geography of the USA. A great thing about this game is that it's for kids from 3rd to 7th grade and they can play together as questions are geared for each level separately. Basically you move around a USA map game board answering questions about US cities, states, lakes, national parks, state industries and much more. The object is to earn six flags, you receive a flag each time you answer a question correctly. The first player to get six flags wins. There are 440 questions in this game.

  • Snapshots Across America

    Recommended for ages – 8 and Up.

    Another Great Game where Educational Geography Games are concerned! As a Dr. Toy 10 Best Games Winner you and your kids will enjoy this game. Basically you take a vacation and travel across the USA by way of car, train, boat or plane visiting the top tourist attractions each state has to offer. But it is a game and beware, other players can spoil your vacation by placing bad weather cards down and ruining your trip. It's not only a game about US Geography but a way to get great vacation ideas for your next family trip.

  • 1000 Places To See Before You Die Game

    Recommended for ages – 7 - 12.

    This is not just a game; it's based on New York Times best-selling book of the exact same title! Basically if you're the first player to complete an around the world trip you're the winner. You need to visit at least one destination in five different world travel zones before returning home to win the game. This game will help kids and adults learn about different places of the world and where they're located. This game is for 2 to 6 players.
