Geometric Sorting BoardRecommended for ages – Young Toddler. The perfect game for very young toddlers. This game is about sorting 4 different shapes, circles, rectangles, triangles and squares onto a sorting board. Each shape has a corresponding number of holes in it so it can be placed onto the corresponding pegs on the sorting board. Circles have a hole in the middle, rectangles have two holes, triangles have three holes and squares have four holes. There are four of each shape and each of the four identical shapes have different colors, green, yellow, red and blue. Young toddlers learn not only colors, shapes and counting skills but also they engage their motor learning skills as they try to place the shapes onto the correct pegs. How Tall Am IRecommended for ages 3 – 8.The basic idea with this measuring game is for each player to create a fun character by rolling dice and choosing body parts. Depending on your roll you can choose from (feet, legs, body, head or hat) to make your character. There are 30 different pieces to choose from and when each player has successfully made their character you measure the characters height (centimeters or inches) with a measuring tape included. The person with the tallest character wins. You don't need to read to play this game, that's why it's great for younger children. This is a very popular and fun game for young kids. This game gets them used to using numbers in a fun setting at a very young age. Match It FractionsRecommended for ages 3 and Up.It's great to start kids off at a young age learning fractions. And this game does exactly that, it's easy for young kids to play and fun at the same time. Like mini 2-piece puzzles you match up the fraction with a picture. For example you have a puzzle piece of a pizza with 3 slices of pizza gone and 5 pieces still in the box. The answer to this fraction picture is 5/8ths of course and there is a corresponding =5/8 puzzle piece. Only correct answers can fit together taking away from the confusion of fractions. It uses fractions up to eighths. Clock PuzzlesRecommended for ages 4 and Up.A wonderful game for helping kids learn how to tell time. Yes it's a puzzle and teaches time at the same time. Basically on the puzzle board there are digital times shown and the puzzle pieces are analog clocks with the hands pointing to the same time as the digital time. You need to match the analog time puzzle piece with the digital time puzzle space shown on the puzzle board. And correct analog times will only fit into the correct/corresponding digital times space. A great way for kids to get used to using clock hands to tell time. This game teaches time on the hours, half hours, quarter hours and one and five minute increments. Math MemoryRecommended for ages 6 - 10.This is a really fun game for kids that like the game concentration. It's really concentration with a math twist. There are two types of cards in this game, problems cards and answer cards. The cards are flipped so you can't see them just like concentration. You pick a problem card and see a math problem – 4+2=. Then you pick from the answer side. If you choose 6 you then flip both cards up. If not you flip them both back over and try again. It's a great game for basic math skill reinforcement and for improving memory and concentration. Timing It Right GameRecommended for ages 7 - 10.Although this games recommended starting age is 7 it's great for kids ages 5 and 6 also. Basically this game is about learning time. It helps young kids learn to tell time using both digital and analog time. Kids roll a dice that has time increments on it instead of dots. Depending on how much time is on the dice you move that many spaces on the game board going through the days activities performing various tasks. From waking up to catching the bus, going to bed and everything in between. This game helps kids to learn and add hours and minutes together along with reading and setting clocks. There is a booklet that comes with this game, which gives directions on what to do at each time.
