Colorado is the 8th biggest state in the USA. It became the 38th state as of August 1st, 1876. It borders seven states, Arizona, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Utah and Wyoming. Its State Fish is the Greenback Cutthroat Trout, State Animal is the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep and State Tree is the Colorado Blue Spruce.

Both times of year offer activities for kids of all ages, from skiing lessons for youngsters to horseback riding for the whole family.
